WRITER Bio
I moved to New York many years ago, seeking knowledge and new experiences, adventure and fulfillment, and above all, to be the best actor I could be.
I worked very hard in school, playing diverse roles and branching out to Off-Off-Broadway in my second year of grad school, then auditioning wherever I could, whenever I could, packing my resume with great roles in drama, comedy, classics, experimental, and more. Whatever I could do, I did!
But as serious as I was as an actor and as much as I hungered to be on stage and in film, I always wrote – short stories, poetry, drama… Writing was my hobby while acting was my career. I penned plays between acting gigs to keep my creative juices flowing…
As the years went on, the writing took on a life of its own. The gap between my hobby and my career diminished, until, at last, I found myself every bit as serious and passionate (and I’ll say it – obsessive) about my work as a writer as I ever was as an actor.
In the end, I am delighted to help tell stories in whatever way I can.
And I hope one or two of my stories touches you or makes you laugh.
Gratefully yours,
